Mr. Rogers served as the Director of Penalties & Interest during his last five years with IRS. Under his guidance the IRS enhanced the overall consistency of penalty application ensuring that they are developed as a separate compliance issue. During this tenure Mr. Rogers established vital relationships with business and industry groups which included conducting briefings for various Congressional Sub-Committees and their senior staff members. Additionally he was a frequent speaker at the US Chamber of Commerce meetings and numerous other industry trade groups. Prior to serving as the Director of Penalties & Interest he spent 14 years working in Compliance within the International division of the IRS. << Back
